Peggy was part of the team representing the State of Maryland in securing a historic $2.25 billion settlement with Grace Ocean Private Limited and Synergy Marine Pte Ltd., the owner and operator of the M/V Dali, arising from the March 2024 allision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge.

In addition to serving as an integral member of the trial team, Peggy was one of only three attorneys who negotiated the settlement on behalf of the State — a resolution reported to be “the largest legal recovery in maritime history.”
